Do the Right Thing

I've just turned down a trip to Iran over Christmas. An all expenses paid- trip. I turned it down because it is the right thing to do. I cannot leave now, without giving up to many things that I'm presently not willing to give up on. I have made the right decision, the right choice. Yet it pains me with all the hurt not even the wrong ones could possibly conjure.
